Subject:
Description:
4 hours credit. Prerequisite: MU 112 with a C or better. Must be taken concurrently with MU 256. Each family is then coordinated with its function in a major or minor tonality. All unaltered and altered 9th, 11th and 13th chords are learned in relation to the scales which play through them. Further chord substitution is studied and polychords are introduced. All theory is applied in the development of aural and keyboard skills.
