1 credit hour. Prerequisite: MU 179 with a C or better and audition. This course will enable the student to demonstrate greater musical maturity and instrumental skill level than in the first semester course. This course helps the student to work towards greater skill on their particular instrument or instruments. At the same time the student will improve their overall musicianship in a collaborative environment. The student will learn the specific skills involved in accompanying rather than focusing on solo playing. This is the second course in a four semester sequence.
