3 hours credit. Prerequisite: Placement score or MA 253 Calculus III or its equivalent with a C or better. The successful student will be able to solve differential equations of the first and higher order, linear and some types of nonlinear equations with constant coefficients, using analytic and numerical methods. The successful student will be able to use differential equations to solve applications in engineering and physical science.
