5 hours credit. Prerequisite: PH 143 with a C or better. This course is a continuation of General Physics I. The general areas of study are electricity, magnetism, light, and nuclear physics. Laboratory experience is utilized as a means of enhancing the students understanding concepts from the areas listed above as well as for the purpose of introducing the principle techniques of scientific investigation and data handling. There will be three hours of lecture with four hours of laboratory per week.
