MU 137 - Vocal Ensemble II

1 hour credit. Prerequisite: MU 136 with a C or better and audition. Trios, quartets or larger ensembles are organized each semester according to student interest. Groups rehearse weekly with the purpose of developing advanced vocal techniques and to gain knowledge in a wide variety of choral literature. Students are given the opportunity to select and rehearse music of their choice, some done with choreography, under the supervision of the instructor. Public performance of selections is required.
