This course will enable the student to appraise ethical concepts and arguments contained in the commentaries or selections from the works of various historical and contemporary writers or in the televised, interactive dialogues of contemporary societal leaders which form the basis of the telecourse. The student will apply ethical principles to contemporary personal and world issues and synthesize those ethical concepts and arguments into a coherent set of principles that can guide personal conduct and thought.
