The course will establish a knowledge base in factors that govern and influence the production and recording of radiologic images. Film & electronic imaging with related accessories will be emphasized. Class demonstrations will be used for application of theory. The course will also provide a basis for analyzing radiographic images. Quality control procedures to provide a foundation for minimum imaging standards, discussion of a problem-solving technique for imaging evaluation and the factors that can affect image quality. Actual images will be included for analysis. Prerequisite: RADT 1213
