This course is an introduction to the medium of clay, from construction through the completion of finished pieces, including handbuilding techniques, wheel techniques, glazing and firing. There are no prerequisites, but art majors are advised that some senior institutions may not accept this course as an art degree requirement unless it was preceded by specific art prerequisites.
