This course provides a basic introduction to voice recognition software. Topics include adjusting and tuning the microphone, training voice recognition software to recognize the user's voice, and correcting speech errors in the voice recognition software. In addition, dictating and manipulating text using basic commands and formatting basic documents. Voice recognition software usage as it relates to business, educational, and personal environments is explored. Offered: Fall Prerequisite: CIS 101 or CIS 105 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
