This structured, supervised on-the-job experience takes place within an approved early childhood program. The college child development instructor will coordinate the learning activities through periodic consultations with the student and the program's staff member who supervises the student. The experience requires 300 hours of work experience, including 200 hours of contact with children in an approved program. Evaluation will be based upon the quality of work in relation to implementation of principles previously learned in child development courses. IAI Course No. ECE 914 Offered: Spring and As Needed Prerequisites: Completion of CHD program courses CHD 100, 106, 201, 202, 204, and 210 with a grade of "C" or better and consent of Child Development Coordinator. Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
