This course is designed to give the student a more in-depth study into the spark ignition engine. Emphasis will be placed on engine design, operating parameters and diagnosis. The student will analyze failures and engine parameters as they affect efficiency and power. The evaluation and diagnosis will be performed on an engine dynamometer. Offered: Spring Prerequisite: AUT 101 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate - AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
