This course will introduce the student to the concepts and skills of basic black-and-white photography and the elements of pictorial form, and will promote use of the medium as a vehicle for creative expression. Emphasis will be placed on the mastery of basic techniques through camera and darkroom projects, and "photographic vision" through the analysis of exemplary works. Offered: Fall, Summer Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate - AA, AS, AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable, Elective Only
