AUT 121 - Engine Blueprinting

This course involves more advanced engine blueprinting topics. Topics covered will include, but not be limited to: combustion chamber volume correction, camshaft phasing, true compression ratio, crank journal indexing, piston to valve clearance, and valve spring coil bind. Each student will complete lab exercises pertaining to the aforementioned topics. Competency-based evaluation will be applied. Offered: Fall Prerequisite: AUT 120 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate - AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
