This work experience in criminal justice provides the student an opportunity for practical application of fundamentals and techniques studied in the classroom. The student will be required to spend 200 hours or more within that criminal justice agency most appropriate to their career orientation. Any student working full time within a criminal justice agency will be allowed credit for this course upon approval by the Criminal Justice Coordinator. Any student with a grade point average of less than 2.0 will be required to take another course - selected in consultation with the Criminal Justice Coordinator - in lieu thereof. Offered: As Needed Prerequisites: CRM 101 and four or more of the required criminal justice courses, plus permission of the criminal justice coordinator, ENG 101 or concurrent enrollment, and a grade point average of at least 2.0 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate - AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
