Enrollment in this course is restricted to students who have completed four units of MAT 093 and have demonstrated good attendance in Fundamentals of Algebra. This course is a continuation of Fundamentals of Algebra for students who need more time to complete topics covered in Fundamentals of Algebra (MAT 093). Enrollment may also be granted to a student who is experiencing difficulty in Intermediate Algebra or Technical Mathematics 1 with a recommendation from the student's current instructor. Topics covered in this course include fractional expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, quadratic equations and systems of equations. Offered: As Needed Prerequisites: Permission of instructor and enrollment in MAT 093 or a recommendation from an Intermediate Algebra (MAT 099) or Technical Mathematics 1 (MAT 101) instructor.
