3.5 1 4 This course offers an in-depth study of the various problems of embalming and proper chemicals used for each. Emphasis is placed on providing the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for any deviation from normal as it pertains to the preparation of the deceased for public viewing. Laboratory experience will consist of a dissection laboratory and other related activities. ( This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or above to continue in the Mortuary Science Program.) Offered: Spring Prerequisite: MTS 140 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE General Education - Not Applicable
