Transitional Issues assists the student in the final semester of the nursing program to make the transition from student to effective practice at the entry level. Strategies for planning a career and advancing the profession of nursing will be emphasized. Employment considerations will be examined in relation to a rapidly changing health care delivery system. The importance of political action for a Member within the Discipline of nursing will be analyzed. The Illinois Nursing Act will be studied as it relates to the Registered Nurse. Offered: Spring Prerequisite: Successful completion of NAD 200 Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
