OSP 199 - Occupational Special Problems

This course is intended for the student who has satisfactorily completed all, or most of, the specialized course work in a particular CSC occupational program and desires to investigate a special problem for further learning in that area of study. The identification of the problem, determination of nature of result(s) to be achieved, design of problem solving approach, nature of report or finished product and commitment for supervision must be worked out between the student and a particular faculty member. The project proposal is then subject to approval by the Dean of Occupational Programs and Vice President of Instructional Services. If the proposal is approved, the student then must register for the course in the Admissions and Records Office. The course description title entered on the registration and transcript will reflect the topic of that specific special problem. A student may earn a maximum of four semester hours of credit in OSP 199. Offered: As Needed Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable Many physical education activity courses are available and open to all students. However, due to limitations of space and the fact that the offering of some courses is rare, detailed course descriptions are not presented for the following:
