This course covers the properties and preparation of radiopharmaceuticals used in Nuclear Medicine. Equipment calibration and quality control procedures are addressed in conjunction with regulations regarding the receiving, handling, storage, and disposal of radionuclides. Management of the radiopharmacy with accurate recordkeeping will also be stressed. Offered: Spring Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of NMT 250 or consent of instructor Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
