This course places major emphasis on the radiographic demonstration of human anatomy. Radiographs are critiqued to determine the best methods of demonstrating the anatomy of interest, noting differences in examination procedures for adult versus pediatric patients. Pathological conditions and their relevance to the performance of such procedures are discussed as applicable. The chemical composition and recommended usage of various types of contrast medias are also covered. Offered: Spring Prerequisite: Admission to Radiologic Technology program Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate -AAS, AGE, All Certificates General Education - Not Applicable
