This course will cover the assessment of the newborn and pediatric patient. Fetal circulation, congenital anomalies, respiratory disorders of the newborn, ventilation of the newborn, surfactant replacement, oxygen and aerosol therapy of the newborn and pediatric patient, as well as child development, will be discussed.
