4 Credits (4 Lectures) Methods of managing major emergency incidents to include multiple alarm structural fires, high-rise fires, major brush fires, complex hazardous materials incidents and multi-casualty medical incidents. Management of incidents requiring the commitment of resources based on transitional situations and managing the interaction between numerous agencies to achieve control is employed utilizing simulated exercises. Prerequisite: FSC204 (or equivalent).
