Lecture) *15 wks This course continues the intensive study of financial accounting including the valuation of long-term liabilities and accounting for income taxes, leases, and pensions. Other topics are forming a corporation, recording various types of dividends, computing earnings per share, as well as the preparation of the statement of cash flows. Application of accounting principles in recording, reporting, and disclosing accounting changes and prior period adjustments are also included. Prerequisite: ACC 240 with a grade of "C" or better or Faculty approval.
