Lecture) *15 wks This course builds on the foundation established with CPT 235 and prepares the student for a more in-depth knowledge of network communication, protocols such as TCP/IP and peripherals. Students will design a network, install server software, create domains, workgroups, users and trusts. Students will also create and apply user rights, privileges, file and print sharing and services. Server and data security will also be introduced. Prerequisite: CPT 235 or Faculty approval.
