Lecture) *15 wks This course explores the meaning and practices of inclusive early childhood programs, as well as the history of legislation and regulations that have had an impact on early intervention. The student will learn the process of observing and referring children to community agencies, working in conjunction with parents. Ways to design appropriate learning environments, create curriculum with children, and evaluate children's development will be included in this course. Prerequisites: ECE 100 and PSY 114, or approval of ECE Chairperson.
