Lecture) *15 wks This course is designed as an overview of the psychoemotional and social factors that play a role in the student's concept of self as learner. The educational environment will be viewed through the lenses of the teacher and the student, with discussions focused on what classroom practices work and why. Potential educational problems and appropriate interventions will take center stage. The area of student aspirations will also be one of the focal points of the course.
