OHS 200 - Practicum I in Occupational Health and Safety

3 Credits Number of hours per week to be determined by Advisor. This course is designed to provide the student with field experience in an actual workplace under the supervision of a practicing occupational health and safety professional. Sites for this practical experience in the manufacturing, construction, insurance industries, consulting or and governmental agencies must be arranged prior to course registration. Special note: Students choosing Practicums in Health Care Settings may have to meet the Immunization Requirements for Allied Health Students. Prerequisites: OHS 101, OHS 106, ENG 101, (Basic computer skills) and Faculty approval.
