Lecture) *15 wks This course will begin with a review of the techniques for solving linear equations in one and two unknowns, formulas, quadratic equations, and proportions. The course will cover the U.S. and International units of measurement, geometry of some common geometric shapes and the Pythagorean Theorem. Also included will be right triangle trigonometry, trigonometry of any angle and vector addition. Prerequisite: MAT 100 or Algebra I & II (C or better) and minimum 50th percentiles on Arithmetic and Algebra Assessment and Placements Tests, or Math SAT 480.
