The cognitive, symbolic interaction, exchange, role-reference group, and dramaturgical approaches are explored. An emphasis will be placed on language and communication, intergroup conflict and conflict resolution , social judgments and decisions attitudes, perceptions of others, social influence, attraction, aggression, and group pressure.
