The time period beginning with 1877 to the present will be covered with particular focus on critical analysis of historical events in this time frame. Such events can include: The Glided Age, Westward Expansion, Anger and Reform: Populism and Progressivism, World War I, the "Roaring Twenties," the Great Depression and the New Deal, World War II, the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Social and Political Activism of the Sixties and the resurgence of conservatism.
