Introduces technical drafting techniques from the fundamentals through advanced drafting practices. Teaches lettering, geometric construction, technical sketching, orthographic projection, visualization, sections, intersections, development, threads and fasteners, theory and applications of dimensioning and tolerances, and assembly drawings. Includes pictorial drawing and preparation of working and detailed drawings using 2-D CAD drafting techniques. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
