Studies suppression, control, and extinguishment methods. Identifies procedures of size up, approach, attack, ventilation, overhaul and exposure protection. Studies strategy (the plan) and tactics (the how) of structural firefighting. Unusual fire behavior and changing fire conditions reviewed through case study and classroom exercises.
