This course focuses on college reading, writing, and the use of library resources. Using writing projects and oral presentations typical of college courses, it emphasizes academic writing, textbook and college reading, and computer skills for research. Prerequisite(s): Course placement into ESOL 1035 OR completion of ESOL 0043, ESOL 0051, and ESOL 0052 with grades of C or higher OR course placement into ENGL 1021 OR completion of ENGL 0950 with a grade of C or higher OR completion of RDNG 0940 with a grade of C or higher and qualifying English Placement Exam OR completion of ENGL 0090 with a grade of C or higher and RDNG 0950 with a grade of C or higher.
