This course covers the different types of ignition systems and how to service these systems. Topics include flame rectification and how to diagnose flame rectification problems. High efficiency condensing furnaces and their installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures will also be covered. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. This course requires completion of HVAC 1067 or concurrently enrolled.
