This course covers lighting design and its application for kitchen and bath spaces. Topics include how we see light, light sources and attributes, keeping up with new technology, and evaluating lighting advantages and limitations to create a basic lighting plan, electrical plan and reflected ceiling plan for lighting installations in kitchen and bath spaces. This course requires enrollment in Kitchen and Bath Design program. Recommendation(s): Completion of KBD 1010 or taken concurrently, or a prior drafting course with instructor's consent.
