VoIP Networking is an introductory course that will focus on the history of traditional POTS systems, and the basic theories of Voice over IP design, planning, implementation, operation and troubleshooting. It covers a comprehensive overview of technologies, security, and design best practices. We will also cover how traditional phone systems can interact with VoIP networks of the future. Prerequisite: CST 1700
