This course familiarizes students with shop safety and basic fabricaton processes. The student is introduced to and operates equipment such as a press brake, shear, plasma table, wire feed, tig and stick welders. This course also requires the student to manufacture a project from raw material to a final weldment, utilizing the shop equipment available.
