This is a studio course in which the primary orientation is the development of the students portfolio. The course will investigate video production, with primary emphasis on the creation of a video and in-camera editing. The student will create storyboards, scripts, shooting lists and a short film. Writing assignments, appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Placement Test, or English 100 with a grade of C or better, and CIS 120, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
