Survey of print journalism, including news, editorial and feature writing, newspaper organization, copy editing, printing technology and circulation. In addition to classroom instruction, students will practice these skills by carrying out all the tasks involved in publishing the college newspaper. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: English 151. 1 lecture and 4 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
