Prerequisite: None 3 CREDITS After appropriate instruction in common spelling rules, mnemonic techniques, the use of a dictionary and a thesaurus, and the study of common (Greek and Latin) word parts, the student will become more proficient in standardized spelling and will increase his or her written and spoken vocabulary. *Course satisfies the computer proficiency requirement.
