Guided each year by a central sub-theme of the Queer culture, this course focuses on literary words by gay, lesbian, bisexual transgendered individuals. As historical cultural content for those readings are provided, the course will examine the theories (for instance, on topics related to class, race and gender) and their relevance in contemporary Queer Culture. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
