Introduces students to major home appliance service requirements. Provides a study of customer relations and professional development in the workplace. Interpersonal relations, ethics in the workplace, service call planning, safe work practices, tools and equipment, installation procedures, and customer instruction practices are also introduced. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline are part of the course. 3 lecture hours and 3 lab hours. 4 credit hours.
