Examines the issues of diversity and prepares students to speak and act with sensitivity and awareness of others. Students will gain proficiency in global events and their implications; students will learn how to interact with international visitors through the use of role playing. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: English 101. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
