Study of the principles and techniques of auto body sheet metal connections, use and care of basic tools, types and application of fillers, analyzing the extent of damage, and perform required repair operations. Student will develop skills in removing and installing trim and digging, filling, picking, and filling sheet metal. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency in repairing minor body damages according to established standards. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 1 lecture and 6 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
