Students will acquire knowledge and skills in using oxy acetylene and mig-welding equipment to perform welding operations in repairing damaged auto bodies. Proficiencies will be developed in butt and lap welding, listing and cutting on light gauge metal, and brazing and lead soldering. All work performed must be in accordance with established standards. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 2 lecture and 6 lab hours per week. 4 credit hours.
