Students will execute the techniques of preparing surface, selecting and mixing paint, and spraying. Work will be performed on sheet metal panels initially, and each student will progress to full bodied automobiles. As refinishing skills increase in proficiency, each student will demonstrate skills in colormatching weathered finishes. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 1 lecture and 6 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
