Introduction to the production system and operation of the various video and audio equipment necessary to produce programming. Emphasis will be placed on how the various components integrate into a system. The student will be required to demonstrate expertise through class exercises and laboratory projects. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
