Students spend 300 hours per semester under supervision, working with preschool children in nursery school or day care program, 8 or 16 weeks; includes 2 hour weekly seminar. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in Child Development 258 and completion of Child Development core, all preschool educational methods courses or Consent of Department Chairperson. 2 lecture and 20 lab hours per week. 6 credit hours.
