A course oriented toward creating scientific awareness of the health hazards associated with the exposure to various chemical and physical agents. Student learns to avoid the misuse and addiction to over the counter or prescription drugs and minimizes the stress factors which cause abnormal physiological response. The knowledge gained in this course would also enable the student to help others. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
