This course consists of lectures, readings, study of models and prosection that will introduce the student to the gross anatomical structure and function of the human head and neck including the face, oral cavity, and deep structure of the face. Clinical implications and correlations will be discussed. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Biology 226 and Biology 227 and Consent of Department Chairperson. 100 minutes per week. 2 credit hours.
